How do i paint a wooden cane?
Im trying to paint a wooden cane, it is bamboo (obviously not ideal for walking with a limp), and a simple curved handle. How do i paint this, what kind of paint can i use to make it shine. im thinking of the cane to be jet black(if i can) and the handle to be white.
i also need to know how to install a rubber tip to the end of the cane. i need some instructions. the metal cap that was on it is no good
get a crutch tip [at most hardware's]
sand it lightly wipe it with a slightly damp rag
[tagging] hang it by the curve paint the bottom first , with gloss black
when its dry [about 2 days] rehang it from the bottom paint the top with egg shell white , let dry for 2 days then coat it with 2 coats of polyurethane , let it dry Again for 2 to 3 days
