Azumi or Yamaha flutes?!?
Well... I have been playing the flute for about 5 years.
Its time for me to upgrade to a better flute.
i have been recommended for Marching Band, and I will have to get a piccolo also. I really like the Azumi flute ( designed by Altus)., and also the Yamaha 481H. They both have silver plated bodies, and are french keys. I am buying my flute from fluteworld.com, and the Azumi is much cheaper. The Azumi has a Z cut- which makes your embrochure much deeper, and clean. I am getting an offset G, B key footjoint, and no split E. Yamaha is known to last long, and good quality. I don't know which one to get!
I am planning to play the flute ALOT.please help if you can^^
I wouldn't use a 481 or Azumi for marching band, if that was your intentions.
Go for the Azumi!!! =)
