What is the difference between these two Pearl flutes?

Both are full silver, open-holed, with French pointed arms and Split E and a B footjoint.
Would you recommend these Pearl flutes, or the following Yamahas? The Yamahas are both open-holed, full sterling silver, and have B-footjoints. The 461 does not have a split E but the 471 does. 471 also has a gold lip plate but is more expensive.

I would go with one of the Pearls. Pearl is a very good brand. My flute is actually the Quantz 765 model, and it plays really well. I love it.
There are only a few differences between those two pearls. The CODA model has a gold lip plate, a C# trill key, and a D# roller.
Most of these things can be useful, but aren't really necessary.
The Quantz 765 model has a sterling silver lip plate and it doesn't come with the extra features. This is the model that I have, and it plays really beautifully.
A gold lip plate probably won't make an enormous difference in the sound. It will a little, but it's not the same as having the whole headjoint be gold. Really it's a matter of your personal preference.
These two Pearls are both good flutes. The cool thing about Pearl is the pinless construction that they use to construct all of their flutes. You can read more about it at their website.

Yamahas are supposed to be pretty good too, but I would still recommend the Pearls. Pearl is a very good company.
