Is my Flute headjoint good?
hi, im wondering if my yamaha 481 H solid silver with silver plated headjoint is good?
im trying to look for a flute that is decent but doesnt cost that much for marching band,
i found a pearl PF-761 with a PH-6J headjoint
im wondering if the headjoint is good too and which one is better my yamaha 481h solid silver or the PH-6J by pearl.
and im trying to find a headjoint that doesnt cost that much, around like $200-$600. What kind of headjoint should i get?

for the headjoint that im thinking about buying, its for my concert flute, the pearl one or one im about to buy it going to be my marching band.
and gold lip headjoint, what if it was like gold plated lip? would that make a different of does it have to be like "gold" lip and not "gold plated lip"?
Its marching band. I personally have a gemeinhart student anniversary edition flute for marching band and an emerson open hole for concert band. Your flute will get ruined by marching band. Dont bother with solid silver. It will tarnish. Leave that for a concert flute. Just get a plated for marching band. Wont affect your sound really, and it doesnt matter anyway since its marching band. Just get the cheaper one.
