Ebay Packaging
What ebay packaging do you use when you sell an item? With ebay selling costs running higher than ever and customers expectations on packaging and the environment it is something that needs to be carefully balanced.
For small items the most cost effective method for ebay packaging is padded envelopes. Padded envelopes provide good quality protection at low cost. Items that are none breakable like clothes can be sent in polythene postal bags and provide an effective low weight shipping container for the items.
For more fragile items your packaging needs to give more protection to your ebay item. Cheap cardboard boxes are great for this, low cost, shape keeping and 100% recyclable & degradable. On the lines of being environmentally friendly, biodegradable loosefill chips are now available to pack the space between your ebay item and the cardboard box and keep your product from moving around and getting damaged. Postal boxes are another form of cardboard box that is sometimes over looked. It’s cheap and easy to store and build. Manufactured from high quality rigid flute corrugated cardboard. Ideal for general packaging and mailing purposes. These postal boxes provide a high level of protection for delicate and fragile items conforming to post office mailing requirements. These are available in brown and also a more professional looking white. For even higher value orders you may want to look at coloured cardboard boxes. Colours available are Black, Blue, Red and Silver and are made from 100% recycled material.
Bubble wrap is ideal for ebay sellers as the light weight nature of bubble wrap reduces shipping costs. Bubble wrap is ideal for use in packaging fragile items and provides strong, flexible and lightweight cushioning protection. Anti-static bubble wrap is also available for the packaging of electronic parts and components, thereby protecting sensitive electronic chips from static which can damage them.
