An Effective Head Louse Home Cure
So a case of head louse has shown up in your home and now you need a child head louse treatment that can kill the bugs. 3. Essential oil based shampoos. These use natural antiseptic and other ingredients that are toxic to the pests. These products also have special natural additives that provide relief for the itching and need to scratch.
4. Try on of the home cures from the Web. There are many well meaning people who have posted their own personal child head louse treatment solution with most involving various food products. The mess and the problems to use these pediculosis remedies as directed aren't worth saving a few dollars. Pediculosis is the dollar word for a head louse infestation.
What you may save in money, you will end up wasting in time and effort to deal with these messy solutions.
Overall, these are the worst of the head lice killing ideas. I understand that some people have claimed that these methods work but considering the mess and the fact that they don't work for everyone is enough consider them low in effectiveness.

Miss even one egg however and be prepared to again fight the problem. I personally like the idea of using a nit comb regardless of the kind of shampoo you decide to use. It's cheap insurance that everything has been removed from your child's hair and the infestation has been stopped. As for shampoo type, you can't go wrong using the safer essential oil based shampoo products.
