Getting Into Playing Jazz.?

So, I'm wanting to look into playing Jazz.

I'm pretty good at Bass, Harmonica, and mulitude of wind instruments (like tin whistles, cane whistles, irish flute) and I'm wanting to develop a 'jazzy musical mind'

What should I be paying most attention to in music theory?

Well, for starters you must adopt the habit of listening to jazz music and the styles of the great jazz artists and institutions. You also have to do an awful lot of research, familiarize yourself with the 12 scales and the pentatonic scale. Then you can move on to the more perplexed matters like chords progression and syncopation...good luck !
