What's a good price...?
I'm looking to sell my flute, either on eBay or maybe to a store that does instrument consignment or something. It's an Armstrong 104 flute with the hardcase, about 10-12 years old, but only used for 1 1/2 years at most. It's still in very good condition and I cleaned it up tonight. I know my mom paid about $900 for it new, but I'm seeing them go for even as low as $25 on eBay and I don't think I should big of a loss. Any suggestions? If it helps, I am in the Rock County area in Wisconsin. I looked online for stores and I'm going to make a few phone calls, but what do you think is a fair asking price? Thanks for any/all help.
Call the band directors at your local high schools and colleges and see what they think. They might know someone interested in buying, too, which would save you the fees of eBay, PayPal, etc.
