What is the difference between the Armstrong 102 and 104 flute model?
I am looking to buy a student flute, but don't understand the difference between the two or which is better. Thanks!
They look about the same on the site. The only major difference is the adjusting screws. If I had to pick between the two, I would say go with the 102 because its adjusting screws are top mount and that is the kind which are on the step up Armstrong models.
But if you don't have to get and Armstrong flute, I recommend you try to get a yamaha flute or gemeinhardt flute. They are more trusted brands in my opinion. Armstrong is okay, but yamaha and gemeinhardt are the best quality you can get for a cheaper price, in my opinion of course. 
(I believe this because I have played Armstrong, Selmer, Gemeinhardt, Symphony, Jupiter, Haynes(haynes is amazing but expensive) and Yamaha flutes before)
